PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE: Air Quality Warning

The air quality in the Berkshires continues to worsen due to the wildfires in Canada and is currently rated “poor.” DEP has issued a warning: https://www.mass.gov/news/massdep-air-quality-advisory-impact-expected-statewide. We suggest that you post this warning to your website and direct any callers to the DEP website. Tri-Town Health and others are recommending the use of N-95 masks for those that need it, and that anyone who experiences respiratory effects contact their primary care provider. All residents should consider reducing the time spent outdoors, especially if you are feeling symptoms such as difficulty breathing or throat irritation.
