Special Town Community Listening Session - Dec. 14th, 2022

Dear Residents,

The Town of Clarksburg identified several projects that would reduce our risk from the impacts of climate change in our recently completed Hazard Mitigation Plan. As a follow-up, Clarksburg has developed three projects to mitigate increased risk to our community caused by climate change through a grant from the Massachusetts Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program.

We ask for your feedback on the projects identified and hear what’s most important to you when considering solutions. Surveys will be available at Town Hall, the Library and the Senior Center. Residents may return completed surveys to any of the locations mentioned above prior to January 1st, 2023.

Additionally, the Town would like to invite community members to a special in-person listening session to hear your thoughts, answer questions about these projects, and discuss the plans Clarksburg has developed to adapt to climate change.

The listening session will take place on: Wednesday, December 14th at 6pm at Clarksburg Community / Senior Center.*Please note that, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate childcare for this event.
