Clarksburg School Committee Meeting 

This meeting will be held in the school cafeteria. Please park in the rear of the building and enter through the back entrance.

Please note special start time of 4:00 p.m. due to scheduling conflicts for the committee members.

2. Public Comment/Open Meeting Rules: Clarification of the official legal rules of participation by the public in an open meeting.
3. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the most recent School Committee Meeting dated May 5, 2022.
4. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY22.
5. Principal’s Report: Principal Barnes will provide an update and review items related to professional development, teaching/learning, staffing, and school events.

   1. New Business:
      1. FY23 Budget Review and Discussion: Review any updated information from the Clarksburg Town Meeting on June 1, as well as the recent local elections. Also discuss any updates for the current open positions: principal (ass’t), PE, art, PreK teachers
   2. Continuing Business:
      1. School building needs: Updates on the efforts to set a date for the local renovation group to meet with the ADA Committee, as well as town and school officials, to discuss the school building renovation needs, including ADA compliance, asbestos abatement, and electrical needs.
