There will be a meeting of the EDUCATION, OUTREACH & RESEARCH STANDING COMMITTEE of the Mohawk Trail Woodlands Partnership on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 5 – 6:30 p.m. via Zoom

This will be a Virtual Meeting as allowed by “An Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency,” signed into law by Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker on June 16, 2021 extending until April 1, 2022 remote meeting provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c.30 sec.20.

Agenda

1. Call to order - Approve minutes from July 12 Committee meeting
2. Finalize plans and task assignments for December oak event:
   1. Review draft description
   2. Determine speakers/stipend and invitations
   3. Agree on dates for event – Zoom
3. Revisit Mission/what we hope to accomplish as subcommittee, strategic Partnership plan drafting process
4. Committee support or possible role in co-hosting public listening sessions for Partnership Plan revision due early in 2022
5. MTWP ‘Grants for Good’ webinar rescheduled to Sept. 28, 4 pm via Zoom – Share invitation with towns to learn about potential local project funding
6. Website refresh project
7. Update on state & federal grant awards for tree-planting & town forest planning
8. Any unanticipated items at time of drafting agenda
9. Public comment as needed
10. Adjournment
