Informational Town Meeting: Debt Exclusion

DEAR CLARKSBURG VOTER

The Town of Clarksburg Selectboard, in tandem with the Clarksburg School Committee, do hereby invite you to an informational presentation to be held at The Clarksburg Elementary School on May 21st, 2019 at 6pm to discuss the Towns plan of action to address repairs to our Roads, Culverts, Buildings and the Clarksburg Elementary School.

The Town will be seeking your support for a $1 Million dollar, 5 year borrowing to address our significant issues with our infrastructure.  On May 28th a debt exclusion vote will be taken by ballot, and if successful, will also be voted on at Annual Town Meeting.

The plan to address our crumbling infrastructure includes investing $500,000 in Town-related infrastructure projects, and $500,000 in School-related repairs.  We plan to do this through a five year loan.  Please bring your questions and ideas.
