3. Approval of Minutes:  Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the most recent School Committee Meeting dated August 8, 2019.
4. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion:  Move to approve the current financial statement for FY19.
5. Principal’s Report:  Principal Barnes will provide an update and review items related to professional development, school event schedule, teaching/learning, staffing, and the start of the school year.

   1. New Business:
      1. Teaching Assistant Salary Scale:  Principal Barnes will present information related to establishing a wage scale for paraprofessionals and teaching assistants.
   2. Continuing Business:
      1. Interstate Merger Proposal:   Superintendent Franzoni will provide an update on the progress of the Interstate Merger Committee to hire a coordinator who will lead the work required over the next 12-24 months to move the project forward.
      2. Building repairs and renovations:
         1. Update on building issues, including the delay with the boiler project.
         2. Progress on the use of the School Safety Grant to improve the security of the front entrance to the school.
         3. Discussion about the proposed plan to hire a company to develop a Master Plan for the Town of Clarksburg, as well as the proposed use of the Debt Exclusion Funds.
